Love this family operated store so much. Been a neighbor for almost 15 years and they're wonderful to have as a staple in the hood. Always friendly. Have the right amount of products for quick needs. Stores small but organized. Can't imagine our block without them!

Jack and his family are such amazing people--so kind! He keeps in stock a particular Spanish Rioja I like, and at a great price (Proximo). There are a few liquor-delis here on the east side of SB, but Riviera Market is by far the best. They also have eggs and a few other pertinent perishables, should you need them for a morning brunch.
Well can I say sometimes Santa Barbara never changes this is the case in the Riviera market on Micheltorena right past Laguna. Run and operated by Jack and his cheerful family would make me walk miles out of my way just to give them my business. It's like a small family I have been going there for literally decades and when they took over ownership the place has never been more deserving of my patronage. I have never heard the word no come out with any of the staffs mouth. They have everything you need for a small market their a liquor selection is first-rate there refrigerated drinks and beer selection is second to none as well. Always catering to their customers needs if they don't have a product they will have it ordered for you in a week it's always a bright spot in my day when I get the chance to give them my business I highly suggest you do the same!
Awesome little neighborhood bodega with amazing service! I've been here off and on over the years. I moved into the general area a few months back, and this spot is a mere block away. Naturally, I walk over when I need the occasional pick-me-up. This is not a bargain store by any means. The merchandise pricing is a bit erratic; however, the store is always clean, and ALWAYS well-stocked. To me, it's worth it to pay a bit more for the convenience factor. The family running this store are some of the friendliest, most genuine people I've encountered in Santa Barbara. They are always upbeat, conversational, and are able to recommend a solid beer or wine on the fly. They really make it feel like a small-town establishment, which makes shopping here a pleasure. I will be back soon!
